ExperiencePlus! was founded in 1972 by Rick and Paola Malpezzi-Price and their daughters, Monica and Maria Elena, grew up with the business. As children, the two joined their parents on bicycle tours, then as teenagers and young adults they led tours (and were honored as two of National Geographic Travelers Top 10 Tour Guides). In 2008 Monica and Maria Elena purchased ExperiencePlus! from their parents and have been running the family business for the past decade.
The sisters have continued to build a company that feels more like a large Italian family rather than a business. To celebrate their leadership over the past ten years ExperiencePlus! wanted to say thank you to the adventurous duo as they continue working hard to create connection and community across the globe through bicycle travel.
