Bike Across Italy – Venice to Pisa

This is it – the classic bicycle tour that we started with back in 1972! We begin in romantic Venice, make stops in the great art cities of Ferrara, Ravenna & Florence, and end with a ride to the Mediterranean coast in Pisa. Along the way, you’ll enjoy gourmet meals from two of Italy’s best culinary regions (Emilia-Romagna & Tuscany), take in local markets, and discover a side of Italy seldom seen by tourists. You’ll also visit “the farm” our European headquarters (it’s been in Paola Malpezzi-Price’s family for more than 100 years) for a light lunch and a close-up look at rural life in Italy.

Bicycling Catalonia’s Costa Brava Plus! Barcelona

Home to some of Spain’s most iconic cities and famous characters, Catalonia is a one of a kind destination. With a history as diverse as the territory and a cultural identity and language of its own, this Spanish community will delight and fascinate. Join us on a 12-day bicycle tour beginning in Girona, one of the most fought after towns in all of Spanish history. We’ll pedal east towards the rugged Costa Brava and through the rolling hills of the Empordà region – dotted with Roman ruins and medieval towns. Our journey continues through hidden fishing villages, quiet towns, and through wine country on our way to Figueres, Salvador Dali’s birthplace. We’ll cycle west towards the foothills of the Pyrenees through nature reserves and to ancient Roman spa towns before looping south. Our journey ends on a 10-mile bicycle path finishing in the heart of Barcelona.

Bike and Barge: Amsterdam to Bruges Plus! Belgium’s Breweries

On this bike and barge tour you will discover the southern region of Zeeland in the Netherlands, finally dipping into the West Flanders region of Belgium. By day you’ll bicycle through regions known for the phenomenal sightseeing and cycling terrain. You will travel between the world famous cities of Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent, and Bruges and visit iconic places including Gouda and the famous windmills of Kinderdijk. Delve deep into local culture when we visit small cheese farms and a working windmill in the small town of Tholen. In Belgium, explore the battlefields of WWI around the towns of Poperinge and Ypres, and the brewing tradition of fine Belgian beers while visiting St. Sixtus and St. Bernadus abbey cafés.

Cycling the Lakes of Austria and Slovenia Plus! Ljubljana

This cycling tour has you border hopping through Austria, Slovenia and Italy. We’ll experience the fascinating intersection of Slavic, German and Italian culture. Join us to relish alpine landscapes with a hint of the Mediterranean. We’ll bicycle along idyllic alpine lakes in Austria’s Carinthia region and northern Slovenia. Quiet roads and river paths lead us through picturesque villages, traditional farmhouses, imposing medieval castles and cozy hotels. We’ll introduce you to several of Europe’s most overlooked and pleasant cities, Klagenfurt, Villach and Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, a true gem.
